About the Author:

Ardith Trudzik was born and raised on a farm near Rochfort Bridge, Alberta, during the Great Depression. Her dad joined the Air Force during World War II, leaving her mother to raise the four children and farm the land under very primitive conditions.

Ardith had a resilient spirit! She married Fred, and together they raised three sons on a farm near Mayerthorpe, Alberta, where Ardith taught school for 35 years. Now widowed and retired, she lives in Edmonton.
